Hello! I’m Joanne (Jo) Kehoe and welcome to the space where I’ll reflect on my journey as a PhD student in Educational Technology at UVic. During the workday, you can find me at the intersection of teaching, learning and technology at McMaster University as the current Manager of the Digital Learning Strategy. I am seconded from my ‘home’ role as Lead Educational Developer, Digital Pedagogies, with the MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation and Excellence in Teaching, where I provided pedagogical advice and support to the McMaster teaching community on how to create enriching technology-enhanced learning experiences. My passions center on open education practices, inclusive and accessible learning design, digital literacies, and the thoughtful, ethical use and stewardship of educational technologies throughout their life cycle. Still sorting out which of those I will focus on during my PhD research, so this blog is a definite work in progress!
